Sound & Tone
The all-maple semi-hollow body with arched top gives the Corsair an airy, resonant voice that lands between solid-body focus and full hollowbody warmth, while the mahogany set neck and ebony fretboard add sustain and a tight, articulate attack. Schecter Diamond '78 humbuckers in both positions lean vintage, with smooth mids and rich harmonic content that suit jazz comping, blues leads and classic rock rhythm work, and the push-pull coil splits thin things out for cleaner, more percussive single-coil textures. With .010-.046 strings, a 14" radius and a Schecter tremolo with roller Tune-O-Matic bridge, it handles chord-melody playing, retro-leaning rock and surf-tinged vibrato work equally well.
Schecter Corsair Semi Hollow Guitar Black B-Stock 0653
This B-Stock Corsair arrives unplayed and in excellent condition, with only minor cosmetic hazing barely visible to the naked eye. The semi-hollow body delivers a balanced, resonant tone that sits perfectly between the brightness of solid electrics and the warmth of full hollowbodies, while the set-neck construction provides seamless upper-fret access and extended sustain. The thin "C"-profile neck and ebony fretboard make this guitar equally comfortable for jazz articulation, blues expressiveness, or rock aggression.
Playability & Construction
The 3-piece mahogany set-in neck with ebony fretboard and 22 medium frets on a 14" radius create a refined playing surface that rewards both speed and precision. Neck dimensions of .787" at the first fret and .866" at the twelfth fret strike an ideal balance between comfort and control, while Graph Tech XL Ivory Tusq nut ensures superior tone transfer and tuning stability across all strings.
Tone & Electronics
Schecter Diamond '78 pickups in both bridge and neck positions deliver vintage-inspired warmth with rich harmonics and smooth mids, while the coil-split capability via push-pull tone controls unlocks single-coil textures for added sonic range. The 2 Volume, 2 Tone (Push-Pull), and 3-Way Switch configuration paired with Grip Tip Speed Knobs provides intuitive access to a wide palette of tones without sacrificing performance responsiveness.
