Description
Sound & Tone
The Schecter Diamond Heretic humbuckers push a high-output, harmonically defined voice that stays articulate under gain, while the mahogany body and bolt-on construction keep the midrange focused and tight. The 25.5" to 27" multiscale layout gives the low seventh string firm tension and clarity for drop tunings without stiffening the upper register, and the Hipshot fixed bridge holds intonation across the full range for clean-sounding chordal work. That combination suits progressive metal, djent, and riff-driven modern styles, with the push-pull tone control offering a step back toward warmer, rolled-off textures for cleans and leads.
Schecter Damien-7 Multiscale Guitar Satin Black
The Damien-7 Multiscale sits naturally in the player's hands with its thin "C" neck profile and multiscale fretboard engineered to contour comfortably across all seven strings. The satin black finish offers a fast, responsive playing surface that feels live-ready from the first session. Built for modern metal, progressive rock, and djent applications, this instrument delivers aggressive voicing with precision engineering—a workhorse for players who demand both power and articulation on stage and in the studio.
Playability & Feel
The neck features maple construction with carbon fiber reinforcement rods and a 16" fretboard radius, delivering stability and responsiveness across the 24 jumbo frets. A multiscale design spanning 25.5" to 27" ensures proper intonation and ergonomic comfort across all strings, while the Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut at 1.889" width provides precise string spacing and reliable tuning stability.
Tone & Electronics
Dual Schecter Diamond Heretic pickups deliver articulate, aggressive voicing with crushing midrange and high-end clarity suited to heavy genres and complex tunings. The electronics feature volume and tone controls with push-pull activation, plus a 3-way switch for pickup selection, all controlled via metal knurled knobs with set screws for reliable, precise adjustments during performance.
