Schecter Hellcat-VI Electric Guitar Ivory Pearl
The Hellcat-VI delivers a slim, fast neck paired with a perfectly weighted body built for endurance through long sets and demanding live work. The 30" baritone scale combined with its thin profile at the first fret (.826") feels responsive in the hands without compromising structural rigidity, thanks to a maple neck reinforced with carbon fiber rods. The ivory pearl finish projects presence on stage while complementing the instrument's refined electronics and hardware.
Playability & Build
Built on a bolt-on construction pairing swamp ash body with a Pau Ferro fretboard, this guitar commands 22 X-Jumbo frets on a 12" radius that reward aggressive picking and fluid lead lines alike. The Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut (1.653" wide) locks in tuning stability and articulation across the extended range, while Grover Vintage Deluxe tuners provide the mechanical precision baritone players demand.
Tone & Electronics
Three Schecter USA MonsterTone Stack pickups connect to a versatile control architecture—volume, tone, 5-way pickup switch, and three independent on-off coil-split sliders—yielding a spectrum from thick humbucker punch to articulate single-coil definition. The TonePros bridge system with custom brass saddles anchors sustain and intonation across both rhythmic and melodic passages, while the included Ernie Ball Hellcat VI Custom strings (90-75-56-44-34-24) are engineered specifically for baritone tuning.

Frequently Asked Questions
What tuning and string gauge does the Hellcat-VI support?
The 30-inch baritone scale is designed for drop tunings and extended-range playing. It ships with Ernie Ball Hellcat VI Custom strings gauged 90-75-56-44-34-24, which are specifically set up for this baritone platform and deliver stable intonation across the lower frequencies.
How do the coil-split controls work?
Three independent on-off coil-split sliders let you switch each of the three Schecter USA MonsterTone Stack pickups (bridge, middle, neck) between thick humbucker mode and articulate single-coil mode individually. Combined with the 5-way pickup switch, this gives you a wide range of tone options without routing complexity.
Is the neck comfortable for extended playing sessions?
Yes. The slim C-shaped profile measures 0.826 inches at the first fret and 0.905 inches at the 12th, paired with a 12-inch fretboard radius and 22 X-Jumbo frets for fast, responsive playing. The carbon-fiber-reinforced maple neck maintains structural integrity during long sessions and aggressive playing.
What hardware and bridge system does it use?
The Hellcat-VI features a TonePros bridge system fitted with custom brass saddles and nickel hardware for locked-in sustain and intonation. The Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut (1.653 inches wide) and Grover Vintage Deluxe tuning machines ensure reliable tuning stability across the baritone range.
What skill level is this guitar suited for?
Intermediate, advanced, and professional players will find the Hellcat-VI matches their demands. The fast neck, precise electronics, and baritone platform are built for metal, hard rock, and drop-tuning styles where technical reliability and tonal flexibility matter most.
