Sound & Tone
The EMG 81-7 in the bridge is high-output and tightly focused, and paired with the mahogany body and quilted maple top it pushes a dense, cutting attack that keeps low-B riffing defined rather than muddy — helped by the 26.5" scale holding that seventh string taut. The Sustainiac neck pickup shifts things toward singing, harmonically rich lead work with notes that hang indefinitely, so leads and feedback-style swells sit alongside the palm-muted chug. Best suited to modern metal, djent and progressive playing, with the Floyd Rose 1000 tremolo on hand for dive bombs and pitch effects.
Schecter Hellraiser C-7 FR S Left-Handed Electric Guitar – Black Cherry
This left-handed 7-string settles into your palm with a thin "C"-shaped neck profile, built on a 26.5" scale with 24 X-Jumbo frets across a 16" radius rosewood fretboard. The set-neck construction with Ultra Access and arched quilted maple top over mahogany deliver the responsiveness and sustain extended-range players demand, with hardware and electronics engineered for both studio reliability and stage endurance.
Playability & Build
The neck profile measures .787" at the 1st fret and .866" at the 12th fret, offering a consistent feel across the board. Grover tuners and a 2-way adjustable truss rod lock in tuning stability and allow quick neck tweaks on the road, while the Floyd Rose nut (1.874" width) pairs precisely with the Floyd Rose 1000 Series tremolo bridge to maintain intonation and enable the full range of dive-bomb aggression.
Tone & Electronics
The EMG 81-7 bridge pickup cuts through live mixes with articulate, high-output punch, while the Sustainiac neck pickup with sustain circuit delivers harmonic bloom and extended decay for leads and ambient work. A double 9-volt clip-in battery compartment powers both pickups independently, guaranteeing consistent headroom and responsive dynamics across all seven strings without tonal compromise.
