Sound & Tone
The chambered mahogany body with a maple cap and set mahogany neck gives this headless build a warm, resonant core with added top-end definition, while the ebony fretboard and 25.5-inch scale keep the attack tight and articulate. The Schecter USA Synyster Gates signature bridge humbucker pushes high-output, aggressive rhythm and lead tones, and the neck Sustainiac provides near-endless singing sustain and feedback-style textures for solos and ambient layering. With a Hipshot headless tremolo, stainless steel X-Jumbo frets and a flat 16-inch radius, it leans toward modern metal, hard rock and progressive playing where fast runs, wide bends and expressive vibrato work are central.
Schecter Synyster Gates Custom 6 TR-S Headless Guitar Satin Black

The Hipshot headless tremolo bridge with dual-action truss rod and two carbon fiber reinforcement rods ensures rock-solid tuning stability and intonation, while the Graph Tech Black Tusq XL nut (42mm x 6mm) delivers clarity and sustain.

Frequently Asked Questions
What makes the headless design beneficial for playing and touring?
The headless design reduces overall weight and shifts the instrument's balance toward the body, making it noticeably lighter during extended playing sessions and easier to maneuver on stage. The Hipshot headless tremolo system maintains rock-solid tuning stability even during aggressive play, and the compact profile simplifies transport and setup.
What pickup configuration does this guitar have, and what styles does it support?
It features a Schecter USA Synyster Gates signature humbucker in the bridge position paired with a Sustainiac pickup in the neck position, delivering high-output, aggressive tones with virtually limitless sustain. This configuration is engineered for modern metal, progressive, hard rock, and djent—not suited for jazz, blues, or folk playing.
Is this guitar suitable for beginners or intermediate players?
This is an advanced to professional-level instrument designed for experienced metal and progressive players. The ultra-thin "C" neck profile and high-output electronics are optimized for fast, technical playing rather than introductory skill levels.
What fretboard and neck specifications should I know about?
The guitar features a 3-piece mahogany set neck with an ultra-thin "C" profile (19mm to 20mm from 1st to 12th fret), a 25.5-inch scale length, 24 X-Jumbo stainless steel frets, and a 16-inch radius ebony fretboard. The Graph Tech Black Tusq XL nut (42mm x 6mm) delivers clarity and sustain.
How does this compare to other high-end metal guitars?
The Synyster Gates Custom competes directly with the Ibanez RGT42FXBK, ESP LTD EC-1000, and Dean Vendetta.
