Sound & Tone
The chambered mahogany body with maple center and ebony fretboard lends a tight, articulate voice with a bit of air behind the low end, while the 26.5" scale keeps the seventh string focused and defined for low-tuned riffing. Dual Schecter USA Synyster Gates signature humbuckers push aggressive, clear lead and rhythm tones, and the push-pull coil split on the master tone opens up thinner, warmer clean sounds for contrast. It leans toward metal, hard rock, and progressive playing, with the fast ultra-thin neck and X-Jumbo frets supporting intricate riffwork and lead runs, and the Hipshot headless tremolo adding pitch movement without losing tuning stability.
Schecter Synyster Gates Custom 7 TR Headless Guitar Oak Green Metallic
The headless design and chambered mahogany body deliver exceptional balance and comfort during long sets, keeping weight minimal while maintaining structural integrity under stage demands. Built for technical precision across all 24 frets, the Synyster Gates Custom 7 combines modern ergonomics with premium construction tailored for metal, rock, and progressive styles. The Oak Green Metallic finish commands attention on stage, backed by serious hardware and electronics engineered for touring and session work.
Playability & Feel
The ultra-thin "C" neck profile (19mm at the 1st fret, 20mm at the 12th) paired with an ebony fretboard and 16" radius cuts through complex fingering patterns and rapid lead passages with ease. Two carbon fiber reinforcement rods stabilize the maple headless set-neck, ensuring neck stays dead-straight under aggressive playing and temperature swings on the road, while the deep insert joint with ultra access grants seamless fretboard access to the highest frets for uninterrupted upper-register work.
Tone & Electronics
Dual Schecter USA Synyster Gates Signature humbuckers cut through a mix with articulate, powerful tones and excellent clarity across both positions. The push-pull coil-split function on the master tone control combined with the 3-way toggle switch expands your sonic palette from aggressive leads to warm, defined cleans, while the Hipshot 7-string headless tremolo system with bridge tuning function holds pitch stability gig after gig.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this guitar suitable for beginner or intermediate players?
No—this is built for advanced and professional players. The ultra-thin neck profile, extended 7-string range, and technical playability favor experienced players comfortable with fast, precise fingerwork and higher-register fret access.
What genres is this guitar best suited for?
Metal, progressive rock, hard rock, and extended-range studio sessions. The articulate humbuckers and dynamic response excel in styles that demand speed and clarity; it is not designed for blues, jazz, or country.
What does the coil-split function do?
The push-pull coil-split on the master tone control lets you switch from full humbucker power to single-coil tones, expanding your palette from aggressive leads to warm, defined cleans without changing pickups.
How does the headless design affect playability and tuning stability?
The headless design eliminates neck dive, improving comfort and balance during long sessions, while the Hipshot 7-string headless tremolo system with bridge tuning function maintains rock-solid intonation and allows quick fine-tuning without reaching a headstock.
What is the scale length, and why does it matter for a 7-string?
The 26.5" scale length provides enough string tension to keep the low B-string tight and articulate without excessive looseness, a key advantage for metal and progressive players who need clarity in extended-range tunings.
