Sound & Tone
Swamp ash and a stabilized burl top give this seven-string an open, resonant foundation with clear low-end definition, while the 5-piece maple and walnut neck and Richlite fretboard add stiffness and a tight, focused attack that keeps low tunings from turning muddy. The Schecter Brimstone humbucker pair leans toward cutting clarity and output, holding note separation under heavy gain and staying defined when rolled back for cleaner passages. It suits modern metal, progressive rock, and other extended-range playing where fast runs and articulate riffing across the low B need to read clearly, helped along by the extra jumbo stainless steel frets.
Schecter USA Custom Sunset Extreme 7 Stabilized Top Guitar
This USA Custom Shop seven-string cuts through on stage with responsive, articulate playability built for fast technique across extended range. The stabilized top delivers visual presence and tonal resonance across the instrument's full frequency range, opening sonic possibilities for modern metal, progressive rock, and extended-range playing without sacrificing comfort in standard positions. The aggressive Sunset Extreme styling backs up the on-stage authority you need.
Build & Materials
Constructed in Schecter's USA facility, this guitar features a stabilized burl top mounted on a Swamp Ash body that combines aesthetic appeal with structural stability and acoustic properties. The Richlite fretboard with extra jumbo stainless steel frets paired with a 5-piece Maple and Walnut neck allows access to deeper tunings and expanded harmonic range while maintaining playability across the standard range. The neck sits in your hand with authority and consistency gig after gig.
Playability & Electronics
The Schecter Brimstone HH Pickup set is configured for cutting clarity and output authority, supporting both clean definition and high-gain saturation across the extended 7-string range.
