Seymour Duncan Holcomb Scarlet Neck Black Cover Pickup

The Scarlet Neck is designed exclusively for 8-string guitars and comes with a 4-conductor shielded cable for flexible wiring configurations into your extended-range guitar's electronics.

This pickup excels in metal, progressive, and other extended-range applications where articulation and note clarity are critical. It is not optimized for blues or jazz playing styles.

The 8.36k DCR positions the Scarlet as a balanced, controlled voice that maintains tight articulation without sacrificing body or presence, staying responsive to your playing dynamics across clean and mid-gain settings.

The Seymour Duncan Scarlet shares a focus on articulation and note definition with comparable models like the EMG 81/85, Fishman Fluence Modern, and DiMarzio Crunch Lab, but is specifically voiced for 8-string extended-range instruments.

The Scarlet Neck is a passive humbucker, requiring no batteries or external power and integrating directly into your guitar's standard electronics via its 4-conductor cable.
