Description
Seymour Duncan Jazzmaster Silencer Hot Parchment Pickup Set
The Seymour Duncan Jazzmaster Silencer Hot delivers a punchy, articulate voice with significantly reduced hum—essential for players running into a live PA or pushing gain on stage without fighting noise floor. This parchment-finished neck and bridge set drops directly into any standard Jazzmaster, making it a straightforward upgrade for gigging musicians seeking higher output and cleaner operation from a vintage platform.
Hum-Canceling Architecture
Built on a triple-coil design with two hum-canceling coils and one inner coil, this pickup set eliminates the 50/60 Hz hum endemic to single-coil instruments without sacrificing the character players expect from offset guitars. The engineering prioritizes usable output while maintaining the brightness and definition that cuts through live mix and definition that defines the Jazzmaster voice.
Tone & Output Character
Alnico 5 pole pieces drive a higher-output configuration that cuts through in band contexts and responds cleanly to overdrive and fuzz. The result is a pickup set that retains articulation and string definition at elevated levels, ideal for surf, indie rock, and alternative styles where single-note precision matters on a loud stage.
