Description
Seymour Duncan Loomis Noumenon Bridge White 7-String Pickup
The Loomis Noumenon bridge pickup delivers aggressive, articulate response with controlled sustain—engineered specifically for extended-range seven-string instruments. This Seymour Duncan design balances high-output clarity with the tonal definition needed for modern metal and progressive styles, providing tight low-end definition without sacrificing harmonic complexity in the upper register.
Tone & Performance
Built around an Alnico 5 magnet and rated at 15.98k DCR, this pickup achieves a focused, midrange-forward character ideal for palm-muted riffing and lead articulation. The 4-conductor shielded cable integration ensures clean signal transmission with minimal noise, delivering the precision expected from a signature artist pickup. On stage, the Noumenon cuts through a dense mix without losing definition—critical for modern rigs where clarity under distortion separates your tone from the wall of sound.
Design & Construction
Handcrafted in Santa Barbara, California, the Noumenon features triangular feet mounting compatible with standard humbucker routes, making installation straightforward on most seven-string platforms. The white finish provides visual contrast while maintaining the aesthetic cohesion of extended-range instruments. Built for gigging reliability with the craftsmanship you expect from Seymour Duncan's reputation for consistent performance night after night.
