Takamine EH5C acoustic in / Th5c Hirade Cutaway Nylon String W/ Case

The TH5C maintains the full 650mm scale length and uses all-solid tonewoods (cedar top, rosewood back and sides) so the body retains its resonance and projection even with the cutaway. The cutaway provides access to upper frets without forcing any compromise in classical technique or intonation.

Yes. The 51mm nut width, 650mm scale, traditional body proportions, and all-solid construction meet professional classical standards. The instrument is built for fingerstyle and classical music first; the cutaway and electronics add modern practical features without altering its classical character.

The CT-4BII preamp and electronics are integrated to amplify the guitar for performance and recording. Takamine designed this system to add amplification without altering the guitar's acoustic voice, so you get studio-ready signal capture while the instrument retains its warm, articulate tone unplugged.

This is a professional-grade instrument designed for intermediate, advanced, and professional players. The all-solid construction, refined hardware, and demanding classical technique required make it most suitable for players with established fingerstyle and classical fundamentals.

The TH5C ships with a SH300A case for protection and transport. The case is included with your purchase.
