Ibanez Artstar Hollow Body Guitars

Artstar is where Ibanez archtops get serious for working guitarists. Sitting above Artcore, the series covers the AS153, AM153, AF200 Prestige and AS113, with the familiar Ibanez archtop silhouette that looks right on any stage.

The hands-on details are what gigging players notice: an ebony fingerboard under the fingers, a bone nut for clear open strings, and Super 58 humbuckers voiced for warm, articulate tone. The AS and AM models offer different hollow and semi-hollow personalities, while the AF200 Prestige is the top-tier pick for those who want the most refined build.

Jazz, blues and rock players, along with collectors who appreciate a well-appointed archtop, will find plenty to like. LV Guitars stocks Artstar as availability allows, and the grid below shows what is ready to ship today, including B-Stock value options.

Ibanez Artstar Hollow Body Guitars - frequently asked questions

What is the Ibanez Artstar series and how does it differ from Artcore?

Artstar is Ibanez's upmarket hollow and semi-hollow line, positioned above the Artcore range. It centers on the AS153, AM153, AF200 Prestige and AS113, all with classic Ibanez archtop styling. Shared upgrades include Super 58 humbuckers, bone nuts and ebony fingerboards.

Is an Ibanez Artstar a good guitar for jazz, blues and rock?

Yes. Artstar guitars are built for players who want a refined archtop for jazz, blues, rock and fusion without moving into boutique territory. The AS and AM designs cover full-bodied and semi-hollow approaches, while the AF200 Prestige sits at the premium end of the family.

Are Ibanez Artstar B-Stock guitars available?

Yes, B-Stock options appear in the Artstar range, such as the Ibanez AS113BS Artstar B-Stock. These are open-box, discounted units that are fully covered. Availability changes often, so check the live grid for what is currently in stock. Left-handed Artstar models are not currently listed.
