Sound & Tone
The mahogany body and set-neck construction give this left-handed Synyster Custom-S a thick, sustaining core, while the Schecter USA Synyster Gates Signature humbucker in the bridge pushes tight, articulate high-gain tones that stay defined under heavy distortion. The ebony fretboard and 25.5" scale add snap and clarity to fast picking, and the Sustainiac neck pickup extends notes indefinitely with Fundamental, Mix, and Harmonic modes for controlled feedback and singing lead lines. It's aimed squarely at modern metal, hard rock, and shred-oriented lead playing, with the Floyd Rose 1500 locking system supporting aggressive bends and tremolo work.
Schecter Synyster Custom-S Lefty Guitar Distressed Satin Black
The Schecter Synyster Custom-S Left-Handed sits in your hands with the responsiveness and balance that separates working instruments from showpieces. Built around an ultra-thin neck profile and mahogany body, it's engineered for left-handed players who demand speed without sacrifice. Pro-level electronics punch through any stage mix, while the distressed satin black finish wears the battle scars of serious touring without showing every ding.
Playability & Feel
The ultra-thin "C" neck shape, reinforced with carbon fiber rods, lets you move across the fretboard with zero fatigue during extended lead passages and rapid position shifts. A 25.5" scale length paired with 24 X-Jumbo stainless steel frets on an ebony fretboard with 16" radius gives you the familiar platform left-handed players rely on for lead work, while the Floyd Rose 1500 Series nut (41.3mm) locks in tuning stability through aggressive bending and tremolo abuse.
Tone & Electronics
The Schecter USA Synyster Gates Signature Humbucker at the bridge generates the thick, articulate gain that cuts through a full metal ensemble, while the neck-position Sustainiac pickup opens up infinite sustain and feedback textures via dedicated mode switching (Fundamental, Mix, Harmonic). A full control suite—including a 2-Way On-Off Sustainiac switch and 3-Way mode selector—puts both conventional and experimental tones within arm's reach.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this guitar suitable for metal and hard rock, or can it handle other genres?
This guitar is purpose-built for metal, hard rock, progressive, and djent styles. The high-output electronics and aggressive tone profile are optimized for heavy music and are not recommended for jazz, blues, or folk.
What makes the neck comfortable for long playing sessions and fast lead work?
The ultra-thin 'C' neck shape is reinforced with carbon fiber rods, reducing fatigue during extended passages. The 25.5" scale length and 16" fretboard radius provide a familiar platform for rapid position shifts, while the 24 X-Jumbo stainless steel frets on ebony support aggressive bending and technique.
What is the Sustainiac neck pickup and how do I use it?
The Sustainiac neck pickup unlocks infinite sustain and experimental feedback textures with dedicated Fundamental, Mix, and Harmonic mode switching. A 2-Way On-Off switch and 3-Way mode selector let you control when and how the sustain effect engages for creative tonal options.
What tuning stability can I expect from the Floyd Rose system?
The Floyd Rose 1500 Series locking nut (41.3mm width) paired with the Floyd Rose 1500 locking tremolo bridge ensures stable tuning across aggressive bending, tremolo use, and the dynamic playing demands of modern metal.
What is the 'distressed' finish and how does it affect the guitar?
The distressed satin black finish is a cosmetic treatment that gives the guitar a worn, played-in appearance. It does not affect tone, playability, or durability—only the visual aesthetic.
