Will these pickups fit my Fender Jazz V?

No. The AJB-5S uses traditional 5-string Jazz Bass sizing and will not retrofit Fender Jazz V models. Confirm your bass body type before purchase—these are designed for standard Jazz Bass 5-string construction.

What's included in the set?

The set includes a neck pickup and bridge pickup, a fully discrete 9-volt preamp, 3-conductor lead wire, mounting screws, and springs for secure installation.

How does the discrete preamp affect tone compared to integrated designs?

The fully discrete, ultra-quiet preamp provides low impedance output and excellent dynamic range with minimal noise floor, delivering clean signal transmission and responsive tone shaping across your playing dynamics.

What genres are these pickups best suited for?

The AJB-5S is engineered for Jazz, Funk, and studio sessions, where articulate, focused, punchy tone is essential. They are not recommended for Metal or Hard Rock styles.

Will these pickups reduce feedback and squealing?

Yes. Vacuum wax potting eliminates squeal and feedback, ensuring stable performance across different playing dynamics and styles.
